Zan Kole’ Simon , was a young designer that holds Degree in Fashion Textile in University Teknologi MARA before pursued his study in Fashion and Haute Couture in New York University. Born in Kuching, Sarawak but growing up in Kuala Lumpur, he was famously known as writer for various fashion columns in fashion magazines such as EH!, GLAM, DIVA and Women Weekly.
At early age 25 years old, with his friend Nasriq and Phylis, they had opened up a small boutique in Bangsar called Lovely Velvet. He knew that if they only invested for this small boutique, they can’t go far. He signed up a contract with GAP in order for Lovely Velvet to market the brand internationally. 3 – years of contract gives them a lot of opportunity. They become one of the outstanding brands that participating in Australia Fashion Week, Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week and Singapore Fashion Week.
Zan also became the most influential in Asia fashion industry when he has been appointed as judges in Australia Next Top Models. Zan also gave ideas to market the brands to United States and Canada.
